A note from Chloe
Welcome to The Haze. I am so grateful you are here.
I wanted to share with you why I started The Haze and how it came to be. It’s been a journey to get to this point over the last couple of years, a journey that might resonate with many.
Rewind a few years back, before the world completely changed. It was 2018, I had been working in the fashion industry for over a decade and was well & truly in the thick of professional burnout. With considerable changes happening in my personal life at the same time, and the chances of imploding all together at an all time high, I knew I had to make a change.
I was fortunate enough to take time out over the following 12 months. I experienced a trip of a lifetime around the world and completely recharged my soul. As I found my feet back home in Australia at the start of 2020, little did I know that what was to come would result in starting my own business and creating The Haze.
With a rejuvenated desire to design and a stronger sense of self, it was time to listen to that calling to go out on my own.
I wanted to create a brand that offered more than just fashion. It was important to me to also intertwine style through a holistic way of living. Maybe it’s the Libran in me but I find I am my best self when I find balance physically, emotionally and spiritually.
The Haze was created to be a lifestyle fashion brand. To us, lifestyle is how you live your life to establish your wellbeing and recharge. Our brand explores simple practices that support the wellbeing of an individual, while providing a consciously crafted wardrobe. We are about empowerment, authenticity, creating space and providing moments of thought.
Branding ourselves through grounding & tonal colours, our aesthetic is calm while exploring an undertone of 70’s nostalgia. By offering more than just fashion, our signature is used to express style through each facet of your being.
We find inspiration from our community and from the beautiful country we live in. We support the process of slow fashion and ethical production. Enjoying the pleasures of life is vital but we also need to take responsibility for our impact from what we do. Even though we are in our infancy, we are constantly trying to better our business practices and remain transparent about what we do and how we create.
I hope you feel inspired to get to know us a little more. There is lots to explore and we are only just beginning.
With love,
Chloe x
