Packaging

At The Haze, our packaging is thoughtfully chosen to reflect conscious materials and considered disposal methods. Every component has been carefully selected to carry our pieces from our makers to our community, with materials that are either compostable at home or industrially, fully paper recyclable, or both—ensuring a mindful and sustainable journey from creation to delivery.

COMPOSTABLE GARMENT BAGS & MAILERS

We are committed to responsible practice in every aspect of our business. This includes the materials we choose for our packaging: by using compostable, plant-based bags instead of single-use plastics, we minimise our environmental impact and support a circular approach to fashion. Compostable packaging naturally breaks down into nutrient-rich organic matter, reintegrating with the environment, and ensures that every delivery reflects our dedication to sustainability, transparency, and mindful care of the planet.

ECO SHIPPING LABELS

All shipping labels are printed onto our eco labels using a thermal printer, which uses only heat to print, no ink. These eco labels are also 100% home compostable, so they don't impair the ability for the mailer bag to compost in a home system.

PAPER MATERIALS

We prioritise the use of responsible paper materials across our packaging and marketing. All of our paper is either recycled or sourced from accredited, ethical suppliers, ensuring minimal impact on forests and ecosystems. From swing tags to mailers, we carefully select materials that uphold both quality and sustainability, allowing our customers to enjoy our products while supporting a more conscious approach to fashion.

OUR COMMITMENT

At The Haze, we are dedicated to continually refining our practices to lessen our impact on the planet. As part of this journey, we are working towards transitioning all internal garment labels to 100% recycled fibres by 2027. This step reflects our ongoing commitment to thoughtful design, responsible material choices, and creating fashion that honours both people and the environment.
